Problems solved by technology

[0006] The DBR type tunable laser is tuned by current, and the tuning speed is fast, but its mode stability is not good due to the vernier effect; while the switching speed of the vertical cavity surface emitting laser is fast, but the single mode mode is not good enough, and the power is not high, so it is not suitable for the application For long-distance sensing detection

Abstract

The invention discloses a linear frequency sweep laser based on a four-channel parallel DFB laser array. The linear frequency sweep laser comprises a butterfly-shaped packaged four-channel parallel DFB laser array module and a peripheral driving circuit, the peripheral driving circuit comprises a central control module, a current stabilization module and a temperature control module; the four-channel parallel DFB laser array module is electrically connected with the current stabilization module and the temperature control module; the current stabilization module and the temperature control module are electrically connected with the central control module; the central control module is used for sending working current required by the laser, selecting a laser channel and acquiring real-time temperature information in the laser; the current stabilization module is used for receiving current information from the central control module and outputting driving current required by the laser array module to the laser array module; and the temperature control module is used for controlling working temperature of the laser. According to the invention, programmable control working current can be provided for lasers of four channels, lasers of any channels can be selected, and multi-channel laser frequency sweeping is realized.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of laser sensing and detection, and in particular relates to a linear frequency-sweeping laser based on a four-channel parallel DFB laser array. Background technique [0002] LiDAR ranging technology based on Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) is a non-contact, high-precision, high-efficiency, large-scale absolute distance measurement technology without blind spots. It has been widely used in geometric shape detection, optical fiber sensing, health monitoring, integrated optical path diagnosis and other fields. Among them, the linear tunable laser is a key device of FMCW lidar technology, and its performance such as optical power, linearity, line width, and sweep bandwidth has a key impact on the application of FMCW-based optical coherent sensing systems. Its sweep linearity and sweep range affect the resolution of the system, its line width determines the longest measurement distance and spatial re...
