Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of bioengineering, and particularly relates to a microbacterium XL1 and application thereof in producing Levan fructan. The invention provides a strain with a preservation number of CCTCC NO: M2021423, and discloses application of the strain in producing the Levan fructan. In addition, the invention further provides a specific method for screening the strain and culturing the strain to produce the Levan fructan. Through multiple tests, optimal culture conditions for the strain to produce the Levan fructan are provided, so that the carbon-source use efficiency for producing the Levan fructan exceeds 64%.
