Abstract

In-vivo and in-vitro researches show that the pennoside compound PSVII acts on RA synovial cells to inhibit the proliferation of RA-FLS and MH7A and induce the apoptosis of the RA-FLS and MH7A. The compound can reduce the levels of serum TNF-alpha, IL-6 and IL-1beta, improve inflammatory cell infiltration, synovial hyperplasia and arthritis pathological changes of cartilage and bone erosion, relieve toe swelling, reduce the degree of ankle joint diameter swelling, and down-regulate the arthritis, thymus and spleen indexes The pennoside compound can be used for preparing medicines for treating rheumatoid arthritis.
