Abstract

The invention relates to a frequency band switching method, a frequency band switching device and a storage medium. The frequency band switching method comprises the following steps: acquiring the signal strength of a wireless client in a first frequency band, wherein the first frequency band is a frequency band used when the wireless client is associated with an AP; in response to the condition that the signal strength of the wireless client in the first frequency band meets a triggering condition, determining the signal strength of the wireless client in a second frequency band, the second frequency band being a frequency band which can be associated with the AP but is not used by the wireless client; and switching the wireless client to the second frequency band in response to the condition that the signal strength of the wireless client in the second frequency band meets a signal strength threshold value. According to the invention, the wireless client can be controlled to switch the frequency band at the AP end.
