The operation and maintenance device can access the blockchain node through the predefined interface. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a deployment request of a block chain smart contract, wherein the deployment request comprises the following information: identity information of a to-be-deployed smart contract, a version number of the to-be-deployed smart contract and a to-be-deployed block chain node; obtaining a storage path of the to-be-deployed smart contract according to the identity identification information and the version number of the to-be-deployed smart contract; calling the to-be-deployed smart contract to the to-be-deployed block chain node according to the storage path of the to-be-deployed smart contract; and deploying the to-be-deployed smart contract at the to-be-deployed block chain node according to the running state of the smart contract of the to-be-deployed block chain node.
