[0037] Steady-state visual evoked potential (SSVEP) is the response of the human visual system to external periodic visual stimuli. Studies have shown that the magnitude of responses to corresponding SSVEPs evoked by steady-state visual stimuli oscillating at specific frequencies is enhanced in attentional situations. The present invention combines the experimental paradigm that can induce visual attention fatigue, proposes a new strategy for visual attention level recognition by measuring background SSVEP, and develops a typical pattern matching for identifying SSVEP signals under different visual attention levels (DCPM) algorithm. The experimental results of offline test show that the DCPM algorithm can obtain a higher classification accuracy rate, which proves that the SSVEP features modulated by different visual attention states are separable, and the recognition of the visual attention level can be realized by measuring the background SSVEP. Abstract

Therefore, according to the technical scheme, the visual attention level recognition method comprises the steps that an experimental normal form which takes steady-state visual stimulation as the background and can induce visual attention fatigue is designed, an electroencephalogram signal collecting device needed by an experiment is built, behavioral data and electroencephalogram signals of an operator are collected by means of the built device, preprocessing and feature extraction are carried out after storage, finally classification is carried out, and the discrimination accuracy is calculated.
