Abstract

The device comprises a polarization beam splitter, a magneto-optical crystal, a phase electrooptical modulator, a coupling system, a polarization maintaining optical fiber, a half-wave plate, a single-mode optical fiber, a polarization controller and an arbitrary waveform generator. According to the device, the polarization of clockwisepropagation light and anticlockwise propagation light on a phase electrooptical modulator is kept consistent, the problem that the phase electrooptical modulator has different responses to different polarized light is solved, it is guaranteed that the overall phase of an optical pulse is still controllable while any polarization operation is carried out, and meanwhile, the stability problem in anyoperation is solved.
