Abstract

The invention relates to a device for local administration of a medical fluid having a hose which is flexibly deformable and which has a hose wall, wherein the hose comprises a plurality of openings in the hose wall, the plurality of openings connecting an inner line of the hose to the surroundings of the hose, and the hose being closed at a distal hose end of the hose, wherein a proximal hose endof the hose is liquid-permeably connected or connectable to a container for the medical fluid such that the medical fluid from the container can be pushed through the proximal hose end of the hose into the inner line of the hose and can be pushed out through the plurality of openings into the surroundings of the hose, wherein the device comprises an outer sleeve for fluid-tightly closing a subsetof the plurality of openings, the outer sleeve being axially movably arranged around the hose, and the outer sleeve being shorter than the hose such that the distal openings that are not part of theclosed subset of the plurality of openings are exposed. The invention also relates to a method for adjusting the hose length of a medical device for locally applying a medical fluid and to a method for applying a medical fluid.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a device for the temporary local administration of medical fluids, in particular pharmaceutical fluids. The invention also relates to an adjustment method for adjusting the pipe length of such a device and an operating method for operating such a device. [0002] The present invention particularly relates to a medical device for the temporary topical administration of pharmaceutical fluids or other medical fluids over a period of hours to days. According to specific geometric requirements or according to the anatomical conditions of the implantation site, it is possible to mechanically shorten the length of the device according to the invention without causing a loss of function. Furthermore, a device for the continuous discharge of medical fluids is proposed, which can advantageously be combined with a device for topical application of medical fluids, so that the continuous local application of medical fluids or other ...
