Problems solved by technology

For the solution method constructed as an optimization problem, most of the existing work constructs the problem as a mixed integer linear programming problem (MILP). As the problem scale increases, the computational complexity of the problem increases greatly. There are certain real-time requirements, and the method constructed as an optimization problem is difficult to apply to large-scale traffic signal control problems
The solution method using the heuristic algorithm aims to improve the solution speed of the problem so that it can meet the real-time requirements of control, but the heuristic algorithm often cannot find the optimal solution or only finds a certain feasible solution due to time constraints.
Neither of the above two solution methods can solve the large-scale arterial traffic signal control problem very well.

Embodiment Construction

[0214] The network connection optimization control method of the main road traffic signal proposed by the present invention, its flow chart is as follows Figure 4 As shown, the present invention considers three different intersection situations, and three different control methods are arranged, wherein the first method comprises the following steps:

[0215] (1) Assume that there are N intersections in the arterial road, and establish an optimal model for controlling the timing of the green lights at any two consecutive intersections in the N intersections as follows: the optimization model is as follows: figure 1 shown.

Abstract

The invention relates to a network connection optimization control method for arterial road traffic signals, and belongs to the technical field of intelligent traffic flow control. The method comprises the steps: modelling a network connection control problem, decoupling and constructing the problem into a consistency optimization problem by introducing a consistency variable, achieving parallel computing through an alternating direction multiplier method, and updating an original variable, the consistency variable and a dual variable in parallel till a set termination condition is met; and sending the calculated signal lamp control quantity to each signal lamp for execution. According to the method, each step of calculation can be carried out on the calculation node of the respective signal lamp, so that the parallelization of problem solving is achieved. According to the method, the calculation and solving efficiency is effectively improved, the calculation complexity is irrelevant to the number of intersections, and therefore the method is more suitable for cooperative control over large-scale arterial road traffic signals. According to the network connection optimization control method for the arterial road traffic signal, the control efficiency is improved, real-time control is achieved, the problems of traffic jam and the like are relieved, and the traffic efficiency is improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a network connection optimization control method of trunk road traffic signals, which belongs to the technical field of intelligent traffic flow control. [0002] technical background [0003] The main traffic flow in the urban street network is on arterial roads and roads along arterial roads. The optimal timing control of traffic signals along arterial roads is of great significance to solving problems such as traffic congestion, energy saving and emission reduction, and traffic safety. Coordinated control of traffic lights along main roads has many advantages: First, it can provide higher-level traffic services, increase the overall speed of traffic flow, and reduce the number of vehicle stops. Second, the traffic flow will be smoother, and the distance between vehicles can be reduced to increase road capacity. The third is to maximize the duration of the green light when the traffic flow arrives at the intersection through...
