Abstract

The invention discloses a linear motion actuator for hidden handles of an automobile. The actuator comprises the following parts of a housing provided with an electrical connection port and an outputport, and having a first chamber, a second chamber and a third chamber; a driving mechanism arranged in the first chamber; an output screw arranged in the third chamber and capable of extending out ofthe housing through the output port; and a transmission mechanism at least comprising an input worm, a duplicate gear and an output nut seat, wherein the duplicate gear is obliquely arranged in the second chamber and has a helical gear part and a transmission worm part integrally arranged with the helical gear part, the output nut seat is sleeved on the output screw, and the output nut seat has an internal thread and an output helical gear. The transmission mechanism of the actuator provided by the invention adopts a two-stage worm type transmission structure, thereby realizing the change ofthe output force of the motor, that is, converting the rotating action of the motor into the linear reciprocating action of the output screw, with stable transmission and low noise.
