Abstract

A system for providing a function as a service (FaaS) is provided. The system includes a communicator which receives a request for setting resources to execute the function, a memory which stores oneor more instructions, and a processor. The processor executes the stored instructions. When the processor executes the instructions, it analyzes characteristics of the function and provides recommendation information related to the setting of the resources to execute the function based on a result of the analyzing.

Description

technical field [0001] The present disclosure relates to a system for providing Function as a Service (FAAS) and a method of operating the same, and more particularly, to a system capable of efficiently using resources when executing FaaS and a method of operating the same. Background technique [0002] On the function-as-a-service (FaaS) platform, a complete architecture such as programs, networks or storage devices required for application development is provided, so developers do not need to set up additional computer servers (virtual servers, web servers, etc.), and do not need to add Or manage resources such as an operating system (OS) or memory. In addition, since the source code is provided in units of functions, developers can search for a desired function and use the function. In other words, developers only need to access FaaS and write program code using serviced functions. In this regard, FaaS is also known as serverless computing. In FaaS, service functions a...
