The locating method of the movingobject includes: in a moving process of the moving object, re-determining a coordinate system by a current location of the moving object at an interval of preset duration, and thus obtaining multiplelocal coordinate systems; obtaining segmentation locating information of the moving object in an i-th local coordinate system; calculating a coordinate conversion relationship between a j-th local coordinate system and a [j+1]-th local coordinate system, wherein i and j are both positive integers; and determining target locating information of the moving object in any local coordinate system according to the coordinate conversion relationship and the segmentation locating information. Compared with related technologies, the technical solution does not rely on high-precision maps or complex algorithms, and effectively reduces locating complexity. At the same time, a flexibility degree of a locating manner provided by the solution is comparatively high.
