Abstract

The invention discloses a method for designing an advertisement click rate prediction system in a mobile application. The method comprises the following steps: carrying out integration, cleaning and transformation preprocessing on advertisement data; generating features by using the preprocessed advertisement data and constructing a feature complete set; carrying out effective feature selection onthe feature complete set, and selecting an effective feature set; and training an advertisement click rate prediction model by using the effective feature set. According to th method for predicting an advertisement click rate in a mobile application, the long-tail data in the advertisement data is classified according to the similarity and the data valuing frequency, so that the defect that information hidden in the long-tail data cannot be effectively utilized in the prior art is overcome, the information in the long-tail data is fully utilized, and the prediction effect is improved.
