Abstract

The invention discloses an electrolyte regulation method and system and a flow battery energy storage system. The electrolyte regulation method is suitable for a flow battery energy storage device. The flow battery energy storage device comprises an electrolyte storage tank and a battery stack device. The battery stack device is formed by connecting a plurality of liquid path pipelines in parallel, and each liquid path pipeline communicates the electrolyte of a plurality of battery stacks in series. The method comprises the following steps: determining the state-of-charge value of the electrolyte in the battery stack device; if the state-of-charge value of the electrolyte in the battery stack device is within a first preset range, determining a target electrolyte flow conveyed to the battery stack device by the electrolyte storage tank; and regulating the flow battery energy storage device to a target state according to the target electrolyte flow. According to the application, the problem that the flow of the battery stack liquid paths cannot be controlled and the stable charging and discharging of the system cannot be realized for an energy storage device in which a plurality ofbattery stack liquid paths are connected in series on liquid flow pipelines connected in parallel in the related technology is solved.

Description

technical field [0001] The present application relates to the technical field of flow control of a redox flow battery and a flow battery energy storage device, in particular, to a method and system for regulating an electrolyte and a technology of a flow battery energy storage system. Background technique [0002] Redox flow battery is a new type of electrochemical energy storage system. The flow battery is charged and discharged by utilizing the redox reaction between the active ions contained in the positive electrolyte and the active ions contained in the negative electrolyte. figure 1 It shows the working principle diagram of the all-vanadium redox flow battery, and its principle is that a redox reaction occurs between vanadium ions in different valence states to realize electric energy storage and utilization. V5+ / V4+ vanadium ion electrolyte and V2+ / V3+ vanadium ion electrolyte are stored in the positive and negative electrolyte storage tanks respectively, and are pump...
