Abstract

The invention relates to a superconducting cable. The superconducting cable comprises a power-on conductor, a low-temperature Dewar tube and a first flow velocity enhancement layer. The low-temperature Dewar tube forms a containing cavity in a surrounding mode, the power-on conductor is arranged in the containing cavity, and the containing cavity is filled with liquid nitrogen. The first flow velocity enhancement layer covers the outer surface of the power-on conductor and is used for increasing the flow velocity of liquid nitrogen flowing through the outer surface of the power-on conductor. In the superconducting cable, the first flow velocity enhancement layer covers the outer surface of the power-on conductor, the boundary layer formed on the outer surface of the power-on conductor canbe broken and thus, the flow velocity of liquid nitrogen flowing through the outer surface of the power-on conductor can be increased. Thus, as the first flow velocity enhancement layer is arranged, the velocity of the liquid nitrogen flowing through the outer surface of the power-on conductor can be ensured, the cooling effect of the liquid nitrogen on the power-on conductor is thus improved, andthe superconducting performance of the power-on conductor is ensured.

Description

technical field [0001] The present application relates to the technical field of power transmission, in particular to a superconducting cable. Background technique [0002] In superconducting cables, cryogenic Dewar tubes are usually used, and liquid nitrogen is filled in the cryogenic Dewar tubes to cool down the current-carrying conductors. In order to achieve a better cooling effect, the liquid nitrogen in the cryogenic Dewar needs to have certain fluidity. [0003] However, a boundary layer is formed when the energized conductor is pressed against the surface of the liquid nitrogen, and the liquid nitrogen in the boundary layer has almost no flow velocity. Therefore, the boundary layer on the surface of the energized conductor greatly affects the cooling effect of liquid nitrogen on the energized conductor, which makes the superconducting cable face the risk of quenching. Contents of the invention [0004] Based on this, it is necessary to provide a superconducting c...
