Abstract

The invention discloses a passive type electrostatic detection system based on signal differential detection and a method thereof. The method includes the following steps: S1. calculating and obtaining induced charge distribution on a detector pole plate and induced voltage on the detector pole plate by utilizing an integral equation-moment method algorithm; S2. canceling out the influence of a charged cloud and a ground object by differential signals of the induced voltage of two groups of detectors, and retaining a response of a target charge; and S3. solving and calculating to obtain orientation, pitch, distance, speed, and amount of charge parameters of a charged target based on a differential detection algorithm of main and auxiliary pole plates, and according to the induced voltage of the detector pole plate. The system can effectively eliminate a charged background, such as environment interference of a cloud layer, and has high precision in detecting orientation and pitch angles of a target.
