Problems solved by technology

But so far, only one study identified differential miRNA profiles between tuberculous meningitis and healthy individuals using microarrays, and another study only validated the association of miR-29 with tuberculous meningitis in children
No studies have carried out the screening and validation of differential miRNA profiles between tuberculous meningitis and viral meningitis

[0039] 1. High-throughput microarray chip identification obtained 6 differential miRNAs

[0040] High-throughput microarray chip identification and comparative analysis of differential miRNA expression profiles in peripheral blood mononuclear cells of tuberculous meningitis (TBM) patients, viral meningitis (VM) patients, and healthy individuals (HCs) in 4 cases each, The results are shown in Table 1, 28 differential miRNAs were screened between tuberculous meningitis and viral meningitis, and 11 differential miRNAs were obtained between tuberculous meningitis and healthy people (P <0.05) ; Among them, 6 miRNAs (hsa-miR-126-3p, hsa-miR-130a-3p, hsa-miR-151a-3p, hsa-miR-199a-5p, hsa-miR-642a-3p and hsa-miR -4299) is tuberculous meningitis-specific miRNA, and there are statistical differences between viral meningitis and healthy people.

Abstract

The invention discloses an application of a system for detecting miRNA expression quantity to preparation of products for distinguishing tuberculous meningitis from viral meningitis. miRNA is four, orthree, or two or one of hsa-miR-126-3p, hsa-miR-130a-3p, hsa-miR-151a-3p and hsa-miR-199a-5p. The invention discloses an miRNA spectrum in peripheral blood mononuclear cells of patients suffering from tuberculous meningitis and viral, so that better understanding of the nosogenesis of the two diseases is facilitated, what's more, four miRNA for distinguishing or assisting in distinguishing the tuberculous meningitis from the viral meningitis can be obtained through identification, and the system has quite important significance in improvement of diagnosis of the tuberculous meningitis.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of biotechnology, in particular to the application of a system for detecting miRNA expression in the preparation of products for distinguishing tuberculous meningitis from viral meningitis. Background technique [0002] Tuberculous meningitis (TBM) is a very serious chronic infection of the central nervous system (CNS) caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M.TB), accounting for about 1% of all active tuberculosis- 2%, accounting for about 8% in extrapulmonary tuberculosis. Although there is no exact epidemiological data on the incidence of tuberculous meningitis in China, according to the national tuberculosis epidemiological survey data, it is speculated that the prevalence of tuberculous meningitis is about 5 / 100,000. Although the incidence of tuberculous meningitis is relatively low, its mortality and disability rates may reach 44%-69% in countries with a high burden of tuberculosis. Delays in diagnosis and treat...
