Abstract

The present invention firstly discloses the chloroplast genome of Prunus japonica, applies it to the phylogenetic research of Prunus japonica, and analyzes the phylogenetic position of Prunus japonica in the genus Prunus. In this study, molecular systematics and phylogenetic genomics methods were used to establish the phylogenetic relationship of the species of the subgenus Sakura through the chloroplast genome. On this basis, the whole genome of the chloroplast was used as a super DNA barcode of the subgenus Sakura to identify the species of Sakura , providing technical support for the protection of cherry germplasm resources and species identification, and is of great significance for the breeding of typical cherry subgenus plants and the evaluation, protection and utilization of genetic diversity.
