The battery box comprises a box body provided with an air inlet structure communicating withthe interior of the box body, an air outlet mechanism arranged on the box body and communicating with the interior of the box body, a fire-fighting pipeline communicating with the interior of the boxbody and close to the air outlet mechanism, wherein the air inlet structure and the air outlet mechanism are arranged on the two sides of the box body respectively. According to the battery box, the air inlet structure and the air outlet mechanism are arranged on the box body, so that on one hand, air in the box body can flow to cool the interior of the box body and ensure the temperature during operation of a battery, and on the other hand, a gaseous extinguishing agent can be introduced during battery burning to effectively extinguish open fire; a liquid extinguishing agent is introduced into the box body through the fire-fighting pipeline after the open fire is extinguished; the liquid extinguishing agent can be stored in an inner space of the box body; and the battery re-burning can beprevented under the soaking of the liquid extinguishing agent.
