The temperature control method includes the steps of: establishing mathematical models of flow rates of cut-tobaccos, moisture contents of incoming materials, increase of the moisture contents, the moisture contents at exit and standard work dewatering quantity, calculating corresponding relationship between the flow rates of the cut-tobaccos and different moisture contents of the incoming materials under the premise of keeping work pressures of HT steam, temperatures of the cut-tobacco drying barrelbody and temperatures of cut-tobacco hot wind to be constant and setting the increase of the moisture contents, the moisture contents at exit and the standard work dewatering quantity as preset constant quantities, and using a cut-tobacco flow rate calculation value as a set value after adjustment of parameters of the drier. The temperature control method has the advantages that the accurate flowrates corresponding to different moisture contents of the incoming materials can be quickly determined, and accuracy and reliability of adjustment are achieved; the operation is simple and applicable, and head materials can be adjusted in one time usually after entering the cut-tobacco drying barrel body; and the temperature of the barrel body can achieve control of "constant temperature" in order to ensure stability of quality within and between batches and consistency of processing intensity, and the method has a far-reaching significance to the stability of cigarette sensory quality and isworth popularizing and applying.
