Problems solved by technology

Due to its early appearance, there have been a lot of related research on DOA estimation of scalar L arrays, but the actual application time of electromagnetic vector sensors is not long, and the multiple signal classification (Multiple Signal Classification, MUSIC) algorithm is a traditional algorithm with high estimation performance. When used in an electromagnetic vector sensor array, a four-dimensional spectral peak search is required, which will inevitably greatly increase the computational complexity, and a large number of improved algorithms and new algorithms are urgently needed.

Abstract

The invention discloses a dimensionality reduction peak search method for a spatial angle and polarization parameters in an electromagnetic vector L-array. The method comprises the specific steps thatDOA parameters and polarization parameters in a MUSIC peak search function are separated; the property of a polarization matrix is used to construct a Lagrangian multiplier, and a simplified peak search function is used to realize dimensionality reduction DOA estimation; and finally, the estimated DOA parameters are substituted into the polarization matrix to acquire the polarization parameters.According to the invention, a traditional scalar L array is generalized to an electromagnetic vector L array, which not only can acquire the arrival angle of a signal, but also can acquire the polarization information of the signal. The method provided by the invention has the advantages that the electromagnetic vector array is utilized; automatic pairing of the DOA parameters and the polarizationparameters is realized, which avoids additional pairing; in addition, in terms of complexity, only one time of two-dimensional peak search is needed; and compared with four-dimensional peak search ofa traditional MUSIC algorithm, the method not only greatly reduces the complexity, but also maintains excellent parameter estimation performance.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a dimensionality reduction spectrum peak search method for space angle and polarization parameters in an electromagnetic vector L array, and belongs to the technical field of array signal processing. Background technique [0002] For space-propagating electromagnetic signals, the signal direction of arrival (Direction of Arrival, DOA) and polarization state are important characteristic parameters. However, all array elements in a common scalar sensor array (Scalar Sensor Array) have the same polarization mode, and the output of the array elements is a scalar that reflects the intensity and phase information of the signal, and the polarization information of the signal cannot be detected. If the sensor can obtain all or part of the electromagnetic signal (at least higher than one-dimensional) information, it is called an electromagnetic vector sensor. An array composed of electromagnetic vector sensors is called an electromagne...
