Embodiment Construction

[0042] The method will be described in detail below in conjunction with the drawings and embodiments.

[0043] Simulation is carried out based on the data model and the codebook auxiliary algorithm proposed by the present invention, and the DOA estimation performance and computational complexity are verified. The base station is a uniform linear array, the number of antennas is 36, and the antenna interval is half a wavelength. The range of the entire angle search is Φ=[-π / 2,π / 2], assuming there are five independent narrowband signal sources (K=5), and their direction angles are [1.31°2.81° 4.51° 13.71° 17.91° ]. For the MUSIC algorithm, the search step λ is fixed at 0.005°, and for the convex optimization algorithm, the error constant ξ and the balance regularization factor τ are set to 5 and 60, respectively.

Abstract

The invention discloses a large-scale MIMO DOA estimation method based on codebook assistance, and the calculation complexity is extremely high when a traditional DOA estimation algorithm is applied to large-scale MIMO due to the fact that the antenna scale in a large-scale MIMO system is extremely large. The present invention proposes a novel frame structure for downlink transmission. Based on the frame structure, a codebook assistance algorithm is introduced into DOA estimation. Specifically, a codebook channel is fed back to the combination of a traditional MUSIC algorithm and a convex optimization algorithm, so that the computational complexity caused by increase of the array number of DOA estimation in a large-scale MIMO system is solved. Under a codebook feedback mechanism, prior information can be fully utilized to obtain a directional angle range, so that the computational complexity of DOA estimation can be obviously reduced, and the simulation result verifies the effectiveness of the algorithm.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a codebook-based auxiliary algorithm and a large-scale MIMO DOA estimation method, belonging to the technical field of wireless local area network communication. Background technique [0002] Massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technology has great application potential in fifth generation (5G) mobile communications. In the future 5G wireless communication, the deployment of large-scale antennas in the base station (BS) must obtain accurate channel state information (CSI), so as to be able to perform operations such as beamforming and power allocation. For frequency division duplex (FDD) massive MIMO systems, the overhead of using traditional orthogonal pilot channel estimation schemes is huge, so the channel feedback mechanism is indispensable in massive MIMO. For direction of arrival (DOA) estimation, due to the large number of antenna arrays in massive MIMO systems, the computational complexity of DOA estimation a...
