Taking the satellite local oscillator frequency with an output frequency of 10.6 GHz as an example, a digital frequency synthesizer (DDS) can be selected to generate a reference frequency signal according to the output frequency. Its input phase-locked loop (PLL) performs reference phase shifting, and the circuit structure is as follows figure 1 As shown, the phase-locked loop includes a phase detector, a low-pass filter, a voltage-controlled oscillator, and an N frequency divider. The output of the converter is the desired output frequency. Combining DDS and PLL, while utilizing PLL for high local oscillator output, it also retains the high-precision digital phase shift of DDS. In this embodiment, the AD9959 chip is used as an example.
