A data processing device according to a first embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first storage unit capable of storing data permanently; a second storage unit having a faster reading speed than the first storage unit; a processing unit for storing, in the first storage unit, data generated by a data generation source, and further storing, in the second storage unit, data generated bythe data generation source, if data generated by the data generation source matches pre-registered search conditions; and a search unit for searching the second storage unit as a matter of higher priority than the first storage unit, in response to a data processing request from an application.
