Abstract

The invention discloses a prediction method of convection weather. The method comprises steps of according to real conditions and physical data of convection weather of many years, acquiring multiplerepresentation physical quantities and thresholds of the representation physical quantities; according to representation meanings of the representation physical quantities, carrying out grouping; dividing the grouped representation physical quantities into five grades according to the thresholds in a piecewise linearity manner; determining representation physical quantities related to weather phenomena, wherein the weather phenomena are related to the representation physical quantities; comparing the representation physical quantities of actual data with thresholds of the representation physical quantities, if meeting thresholds of all representation physical quantities of a certain weather phenomenon, predicting that the weather phenomenon will occur; and or else, predicting that the weather phenomenon will not occur. The prediction method can be applied to different value weather prediction modes; convection weather can be quite objectively predicted; and broadcasting effects are quite good.
