Abstract

The invention provides a feeding system which comprises a trolley and a chain transmission mechanism which drives the trolley to move. The feeding system further comprises a buffering device and a middle chain wheel device which is arranged at the bottom of the trolley, wherein the chain transmission mechanism comprises a transmission chain wheel and a chain which abuts against the transmission chain wheel and is partly engaged with teeth of the transmission chain wheel; one end of the chain is connected with one side, far from the middle chain wheel device and the buffering device, of the bottom of the trolley; and the other end of the chain rounds the middle chain wheel device and is then connected with one end of the buffering device. With the combination of the rail trolley and chain transmission, feeding of a greater-distance and heavier steel pipe is realized; an automatic tensioning mechanism is adopted for the chain transmission, so that the chain is located in a tensioned state all the time, and a chain joint is prevented from being pulled to be broken in case of instant high overload; and the rail trolley is supported by rollers on and below a rail, so that the overturn of the trolley caused by high stress during the feeding of the steel pipe is prevented.
