The method includes: performing azimuth division by using a slope site as the center, presetting a seismic acceleration threshold changing in a certain range, calculating the exceedance probability, with the seismic acceleration generated by an earthquake at the slope site being larger than or equal to the seismic acceleration threshold, of each azimuth angle domain, and building a site seismic acceleration exceedance probability curve corresponding to each azimuth angle domain; building a slope numerical model; using a numerical simulation method to analyze the seismic capacity of the slope to given earthquake acting manners, and acquiring slope critical seismic acceleration corresponding to different azimuth angle domains; determining the slope earthquake damage stability loss probability according to the site seismic acceleration exceedance probability curves and the slope critical seismic acceleration. The method has the advantages that the uncertainty of earthquake action and the uncertainty of earthquake damage are comprehensively considered, and slope earthquake stability loss probability estimation is achieved.
