The method comprises the following steps: 1) soaking a raw material, namely donkey hide, into water so as to obtain donkey hide of which the water content is 55-65%; 2) putting the soaked donkey hide and water into a rotary drum, stirring to clean the donkey hide, discharging out donkey hide washing water,and measuring the turbidity of the donkey hide washing water; and 3) comparing the measured turbidity of the donkey hide washing water with a standard value of donkey hide washing water turbidity, repeating the step 2) if the measured turbidity of the donkey hide washing water is greater than the standard value of the donkey hide washing water turbidity, and recording a variation curve of the turbidity of the donkey hide washing water along with donkey hide washing times, thereby obtaining net donkey hide till the measured turbidity of the donkey hide washing water is smaller than the standard value, wherein the standard value of the donkey hide washing water turbidity is 2-5NTU.
