Abstract

The invention provides a real-time video stitching method of a multi-fisheye-lens panoramic camera. The real-time video stitching method of the multi-fisheye-lens panoramic camera comprises the stepsof calibrating internal parameters of each fisheye lens and external parameters between each two of the fisheye lenses to obtain internal parameters and external parameters; correcting an original image shot by each fisheye lens to form an aperture imaging model image through the external parameters, thereby obtaining a position relationship of each two fisheye lenses; mapping each aperture imaging model image to a three-dimensional unit ball through the external parameters to form a spherical image, projecting each spherical image to a plane to obtain a panoramic image, and obtaining a position relationship between the original images and the panoramic image; calculating an overlapped region of the images based on the border of each image in the panoramic image, and obtaining the weight of each image in the overlapped region after a middle line of the overlapped region is obtained; building a mapping table of the position relationship of the original images and the panoramic image andthe weight parameters, and uploading the mapping table into a memory in advance; and calling the mapping table of the position relationship and the weight parameter in a real-time stitching process for video stitching.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of computer image processing, in particular to computer processing of optical images. [0002] More specifically, the present invention relates to a real-time video stitching method of a multi-fisheye panoramic camera, but is not limited thereto. Background technique [0003] As a representative of ultra-wide-angle special lenses, fisheye lenses are characterized by extremely short focal lengths and a viewing angle that is close to or can reach 180°, and what they see exceeds the range that the human eye can see. Simultaneous imaging of multiple sets of fisheye lenses can obtain a complete image of the 360° environment around the viewpoint. Real-time seamless stitching of these images is an essential technology for real-time sharing of scenes. [0004] The traditional stitching technology converts multiple images into the same projection, extracts the feature information of the overlapping area of adjacent images, ...
