In the embodiment of the invention, a server can receive an inquiry request, and according to to-be-inquired conditions in the inquiry request, the servercan determine indication information used for indicating at least one data record corresponding to the to-be-inquired conditions from an inquiry table in a non-relational database; and the server cansend the acquired at least one data record corresponding to the to-be-inquired conditions. Since the server in the method and the system in the embodiment of the invention can directly read associated data records from the non-relational database, and the non-relational database itself has a feature of high reading-writing efficiency, the method and the system improve reading efficiency of data records on the basis of combining use convenience of the relational database.
