Abstract

Devices and related systems and methods for therapeutic nasal neuromodulation are disclosed herein. A system for therapeutic neuromodulation in the nasal region configured in accordance with embodiments of the present technology may include, for example, a shaft and a therapeutic element located at a distal portion of the shaft. The shaft can position the distal portion lumenally at a target site below the sphenopalatine foramen of the patient. The therapeutic element may include an energy delivery element configured to therapeutically modulate postganglionic parasympathetic nerves located at the palatal foramen of a human patient for the treatment of rhinitis or other indications. In other embodiments, the therapeutic element may be configured to therapeutically modulate nerves innervating the frontal, ethmoid, sphenoid, and maxillary sinuses for the treatment of chronic sinusitis.
