Problems solved by technology

Although it provides protection, the rubber dam clips used to fix the rubber dam are also easy to fall off and be sucked in the mouth; moreover, rubber dams are not suitable for many restorative operations, such as subgingival margin preparation, repeated try-in of restorations, occlusal inspection, etc.
It is also reported that a 4*4 inch sponge protective barrier is placed in the far center of the operating area to control those small objects, but the disadvantage is that it affects breathing, poor comfort, easy to shift and lose the protective effect

Embodiment Construction

[0014] The following examples are used to illustrate the present invention, but are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.

[0015] see figure 1 , a pharyngeal barrier for preventing implant devices and prosthetics from aspiration and swallowing according to the present invention, comprising a sheet-shaped main body and two wings, a gap is provided at the connection between the main body and the two wings, and the top of the main body is Arc-shaped, the bottom of the main body is rectangular, the middle of the main body is provided with several air holes, and the top of the main body is also provided with a flange. The function of dental floss can not only adjust the position of the pharyngeal barrier at any time, but also facilitate the rapid removal of the pharyngeal barrier when the patient feels uncomfortable.

[0016] The main body and the two wings are made of non-woven fabric. Compared with traditional medical textiles, it has the characteristics of ...

Abstract

The invention relates to a swallowing barrier for preventing mistaken inhaling and swallowing of an implant device and a restoration and an application method. The swallowing barrier comprises a sheetmain body and two wings, wherein notches are formed at the joints between the main body and the two wings; the top of the main body is of an arc shape; the bottom of the main body is of a rectangularshape; a plurality of air holes are formed in the middle of the main body; a flange is also arranged at the top of the main body; the two wings are elliptical edges; a retention dental floss is arranged at the upper part of the main body; the retention dental floss has the functions of adjusting the position of the swallowing barrier anytime and quickly taking out the swallowing barrier when thepatient feels uncomfortable. The swallowing barrier provided by the invention can effectively reduce the occurrence rate of mistaken inhaling and swallowing of instrument in an oral treatment processwithout influencing repair of the gingiva lower edge, mouth closing of the patient or stitching examination, so that the patient can close mouth anytime; moreover, special clamp is not needed, and thus the patient comfort is remarkably improved. The invention also aims to provide an application method of the swallowing barrier for preventing mistaken inhaling and swallowing of the implant device and the restoration.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of stomatology, in particular to a pharyngeal barrier preventing implant devices and prosthetics from aspiration and swallowing, and also relates to a method for using the pharyngeal barrier preventing implant devices and prosthetics from aspiration and swallowing. Background technique [0002] Routine oral treatment operations may bring many complications. Including drug reactions, allergies to dental materials, trauma caused by slipped and damaged instruments, and aspiration and swallowing of foreign bodies. During dental treatment, anything that goes into or out of the mouth has the potential to be aspirated or swallowed. These items may include: teeth, restorations, filling materials, instruments, implant components, rubber dam clips, cotton rolls, and impression materials. Possible consequences of foreign body aspiration can range from immediate airway blockage to long-term pulmonary symptoms. Severe cases req...
