Abstract

The method belongs to the technical field of the intersection of computer technology and military engineering camouflage technology, and relates to a background feature-based camouflage effect detection and calculation method. The method can be used for detecting and calculating the camouflage pretending effect of military targets in various typical background environments. According to the method, the similarity between a target and a background is represented by utilizing four characteristic indexes, including the structure, the color, the texture and the statistics. In order to objectivelyand accurately evaluate the camouflage effect, a fuzzy clustering method is designed, and the weight value of each index is determined by combining the information entropy and the index weight allocation algorithm of statistical characteristics. In this way, the weighted similarity of the target and the background is calculated. The problems of single existing evaluation indexes and the influenceof subjective factors during weight allocation in the prior art can be avoided. Meanwhile, the calculated similarity result of the method is very close to the result of human eye visual observation, and the error between the calculated similarity result and the result of human eye visual observation is less than 5%.
