A first matching table is used for matching a characteristic bit in the message and performs operation on the offset according to a matching result. The chip further can comprise a second matching table which is used for matching a TLV type message and performs operation on the offset according to the matching result. Whether the second matching table is put into service is determined according to the matching result of the first matching table.
