The message analyzing information entry databasemodule is used for storing a plurality of message analyzing information entries. Each message analyzing information entry comprises a plurality of offset fields for setting the UDF message analyzing offset amount. A first matching table is used for matching a characteristic bit in the message and performs operation on the offset according to a matching result. The chip further can comprise a second matching table which is used for matching a TLV type message and performs operation on the offset according to the matching result. Whether the second matching table is put into service is determined according to the matching result of the first matching table. The UDF message analyzing chip has advantages of flexibly analyzing the UDF message with a variable long format, realizing no requirement for a specialized analyzing logic for each message, analyzing a plurality of messages through corresponding configurations, and reducing input cost.
