Abstract

The invention discloses a detecting module and an imaging system. The detecting module comprises a scintillator array, a first set of light guiders and a second set of light guiders, wherein the scintillator array is used for receiving radiant rays and producing corresponding light signals and comprises multiple scintillators, the multiple scintillators include multiple rows of scintillators extending in the first direction and multiple columns of scintillators extending in the second direction, the first set of light guiders extend in the first direction and are distributed on the top face ofthe scintillator array, and the second set of light guiders extend in the second direction and are distributed on the bottom face of the scintillator array. The light guider number of the first set of light guiders is not greater than the row number of the multiple rows of scintillators, and the light guider number of the second set of light guiders is not greater than the column number of the multiple columns of scintillators. The light guider number can be decreased on the premise that the detection performance is ensured, and accordingly the cost is reduced.

Description

[0001] cross reference [0002] This application claims the priority of PCT application No. PCT / CN2017 / 098359 filed on August 21, 2017. The content of the above application is incorporated herein by reference. technical field [0003] The invention relates to the technical field of medical imaging, in particular to a detection module and an imaging system. Background technique [0004] PET is a functional imaging technique in nuclear medicine that generates three-dimensional images of functional processes in living subjects. Typically, a radioisotopic tracer with a short decay period (eg, fluorodeoxyglucose FDG) can be injected into the subject. The tracer may undergo positron-emitting decay (also known as beta decay) and emit a positron. A positron can annihilate with an electron, producing a pair of annihilation photons (or gamma photons) traveling in roughly opposite directions. [0005] The PET system may include a PET detection module for detecting gamma rays. A PE...
