Abstract

Embodiments of the invention provide an article authenticity check method and a mobile terminal. The method is applied to the mobile terminal. The mobile terminal is configured with a molecular sensor. The method comprises the steps of driving the molecular sensor to emit near-infrared light to an article tag of an article; through the molecular sensor, receiving tag feature light reflected by thearticle tag for the near-infrared light; by adopting the tag feature light, drawing a tag infrared spectrogram; obtaining article information corresponding to the article; matching the tag infrared spectrogram with a preset target infrared spectrogram to obtain a matching result; and according to the matching result, determining the authenticity of the article, wherein the target infrared spectrogram is an infrared spectrogram obtained by detecting an anti-counterfeiting tag corresponding to the article information by adopting the near-infrared light. The molecular characteristics of the article tag are detected through the molecular sensor, so that the authenticity of the article is accurately verified.
