Abstract

The invention provides a photovoltaic power optimizer and a control method and device thereof and a photovoltaic power generation system. The photovoltaic power optimizer comprises a power optimization module, a bypass module and a control module. The bypass module is connected with the input end of the power optimization module, the output end of the power optimization module and the control module. The control module is connected with the power optimization module. The control module is used for controlling the bypass module to be conducted when the fault of the power optimization module isdetected so that the power optimization module having the fault is enabled to be bypassed, and a photovoltaic cell component is enabled to be directly connected in series with other cell packs of thephotovoltaic power generation system and accessed to the inverter. Then the power generated by the photovoltaic cell component can be effectively outputted so that waste of power caused by the fault of the power optimization module can be avoided.
