AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

This technology uses an algorithm called CARBACH (Cyclic Redundant Arrays) for calculating how much time each computer has been working at once without getting stuck due to lacking memory space. It also monitors if there are any other processes being done with this same type of resource more frequently than usual. By doing these calculations correctly, it can help prevent crashes caused by overlapping resources between different types of tasks while still maintaining efficient use of hardware components' capabilities.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical solution describes how different tasks consume resources when they run at their own pace without being able to detect them accurately during execution. However, there has been no way to efficiently track these utilization levels over time due to limitations like memory allocation. Additionally, while certain applications require high processor capabilities, many times users have limited access rights within that range. To address these issues, an improved version called LMOS_RPM was developed with specific features described below.

Embodiment Construction

[0027] In order to make the purpose, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present invention clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below in conjunction with the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention. Obviously, the described embodiments It is a part of embodiments of the present invention, but not all embodiments.

[0028] Such as figure 1 , figure 2 , image 3 As shown, a kind of method of CPU occupancy rate is counted for the Linux system RPM package in this embodiment, runs the RPM package file in the system, and inquires about all process information of the RPM software; Calculation steps: read the Linux system directory information, obtain From the start of the system to the current moment, the total number of CPU running sections and the number of CPU ticks used by all processes since the start, and then get the CPU usage rate of all processes; positio...

Abstract

The invention provides a method and system for carrying out statistic on RPM packages of Linux systems. The method comprises a calculation step: reading directory information of a Linux system, and obtaining a total byte number of CPU operation from system starting to the current moment and CPU beat numbers respectively used after all the processes are self-started, so as to obtain CPU occupation rates of all the processes; a positioning step: positioning each process, respectively accelerating a CPU occupation rate of the corresponding process to a CPU using rate of an RPM package to which the process belongs, and traversing all the processes to obtain a CPU occupation rate of the RPM package; and an output step: outputting the obtained CPU occupation rate of the RPM package. According to the method and system, the CPU occupation rates of processes can be automatically calculated and the RPM packages to which the processes belong can be determined, so that effective monitoring and statistic can be carried out on the CPU occupation rates, thereby avoiding the risk of system crash or breakdown, and protecting the normal and stable operation of equipment.
