Problems solved by technology

[0006] Research on MIMO radar adaptive target tracking is still in its infancy, with few research results, and most of them are tracking resource management in single target scenarios; however, due to the wide span of MIMO radar beam width, multiple targets can be irradiated simultaneously by a single beam. Targets have more advantages in the context of multi-target tracking, so the present invention proposes a MIMO radar adaptive target tracking algorithm in a multi-target environment, which determines the analysis time of each target according to the motion characteristics of the target, and combines the MIMO radar at each analysis time The working mode, sub-array division and waveform selection are used to allocate the time-energy resources of the radar system. At the same time, the radar resource consumption is considered, and the optimal parameter set is obtained by minimizing the radar resource consumption.

Abstract

The invention belongs to the communication field, to be specific, provides an MIMO radar multi-target adaptive tracking method based on a variable analysis moment. The above mentioned method is used to realize MIMO radar adaptive target tracking in multi-target environment. The method comprises steps that a prediction error covariance threshold method is used to determine the next analyzing moments of various targets, and the minimum value is used as the next analyzing moment of the MIMO radar; a controllable parameter combination constituted by working modes, sub-array quantity, and waveform energy is traversed, and whether the controllable parameter combination is capable of satisfying constraints of a detection probability and wave beam directions is determined, and therefore an MIMO radar control vector feasible set is formed; and finally, in every control vector of the feasible set, an optimal radar control vector is acquired according to a lowest resource consumption principle. In the multi-target environment, the advantage of the MIMO radar using the single wave beam to irradiate a plurality of targets is fully used, and the sampling times of the various targets are increased, and the sampling moments of the targets are determined in an adaptive way according to the motion characteristics of the targets, and therefore the time resource utilization rate of the radar is effectively improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the communication field, relates to MIMO radar technology, and specifically provides a MIMO radar multi-target adaptive tracking method based on variable analysis time. Background technique [0002] MIMO radar is a new system radar widely researched and developed at present. MIMO radar can flexibly divide the array antenna into sub-arrays, so that it can transmit either wide beam with low gain or narrow beam with high gain. Therefore, MIMO radar has better performance than other radars in terms of interference suppression, target detection performance and target parameter estimation performance. In order to effectively allocate various resources of MIMO radar, match the radar system resources with the entire task load, and fully utilize the radar performance, it is necessary to implement effective scheduling management for MIMO radar. For MIMO radar, its flexible and variable number of sub-arrays makes the radar transmit beam ...
