The evaporator includes a first-level heater and a first-level evaporating chamber which are communicated with each other and used for heating, evaporating and separating feed liquid; the evaporator further comprises a second-level heater and a second-level evaporating chamber which are communicated with each other, wherein a feed liquid pipeline and a steam passage which are communicated with each other are arranged on the communicated part between the second-level heater and the first-level evaporating chamber; steam produced by the first-level evaporating chamber serves as a heating source, the second-level evaporating chamber is connected with a vacuum pump for decreasing the air pressure inside the second-level evaporating chamber. Through arrangement of the second-level heater and the evaporating chambers, the feed liquid can be separated more thoroughly; since the second-level heater is communicated with the first-level evaporating chamber and the steam produced by the first-level evaporating chamber serves as the heat source for the second-level heater, the energy is saved; by connecting the second-level evaporating chamber, used for secondary evaporation and separation of the feed liquid, with the vacuum pump, an indoor low-pressure working environment is provided for the second-level evaporating chamber, so that the indoor boiling point of the second-level evaporating chamber is decreased, and it is ensured that the evaporation and separation of the feed liquid can still be conducted efficiently through the second-level heater and the evaporating chambers.
