Abstract

The invention discloses a 4-type bluetongue virus (BTV) VP2 protein neutralizing B cell epitope polypeptide and its application. The BTV VP2 protein epitope amino acids are screened by a phage display technology. After three rounds of screening, a sequencing process is carried out. Through analysis and comparison, a sequencing result shows that the common short peptide sequence is 160NH161. Experiment results show that 160NH161 can specifically react with the supernatant and ascites of 4A-1G7 and has good reaction specificity to 1 to 24-type BTV positive standard serum. The 4-type BTV VP2 protein neutralizing B cell epitope polypeptide provides a novel technical process for 4-type BTV clinical diagnosis and lays a basis for later building of a BTV-type specific identification and diagnosis method and preparation of a 4-type BTV related epitope vaccine.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an antigenic epitope polypeptide and its application, in particular to a neutralizing B cell antigenic epitope polypeptide of type 4 bluetongue virus VP2 protein and its application in diagnosing or treating bluetongue disease. The present invention belongs to medicine technology field. Background technique [0002] Bluetongue (Bluetongue, BT) is an arboviral zoonotic disease common in tropical and subtropical countries that infects ruminants. BT is caused by Bluetongue Virus (BTV), an infectious disease that can infect ruminants such as sheep, cattle and camels. BTV infects animals, plants, insects and is transmitted by arthropods such as mosquitoes, Culicoides, ticks, etc. BTV belongs to the genus Orbivirus, one of twelve genera in the family Reoviridae. BTV was first discovered in 1876 and has a worldwide distribution. At present, BTV has been isolated from many tropical, subtropical and temperate countries in Af...
