Abstract

The invention discloses a device and a method for detecting quality of seed cotton. The device for detecting the quality of the seed cotton comprises a case, and a photoelectric detection device, a soft light board and a signal processing circuit board which are arranged in the case as well as a display screen, control keys and a communication interface which are arranged on the case, wherein a bottom plate of the case is a light transmission board; the photoelectric detection device is positioned right above the soft light board; the signal processing circuit board comprises an integrated circuit board as well as a micro-processor and a control circuit which are arranged on the integrated circuit board; the photoelectric detection device comprises a circuit board, and a plurality of LED (light emitting diode) light sources and a plurality of color sensors which are mounted on the circuit board; the plurality of color sensors, the display screen, the control keys and the communication interface are all connected with the micro-processor.
