Abstract

The invention discloses a gateway communication method, a routing device and a gateway communication system. First data containing a designated label and sent from a set-top box are received by the routing device. The first data are subjected to label treatment and then are forwarded to an EOC terminal. Data transmitted from the EOC terminal to the set-top box are directly forwarded instead of being processed, so that the routing device does not process data transmitted between the set-top box and the EOC terminal. In this way, the unvarnished transmission of data between the set-top box and the EOC terminal is realized by the routing device. As a result, a data interactive channel and an Internet channel, arranged in the routing device, are not interfered by each other. In addition, when first data are composed of a first IP address request instruction and second data are composed of a first IP address, the set-top box directly acquires an IP address assigned through the EOC terminal. Therefore, the routing device does not assign any IP address to the EOC terminal, so that the set-top box directly communicates with an intranet server of a radio and television network through the IP address assigned through the EOC terminal.
