Abstract

The invention discloses a method for deploying SaaS software in a cloud environment. The method comprises the following steps of obtaining a lease of at least one lessee to the SaaS software; according to the lease, determining information of the SaaS software needed to be deployed; according to an infrastructure status, determining available virtual machine information; according to the SaaS software information and the virtual machine information, determining a deployment scheme, wherein when all leases can be met, a virtual machine instance quantity corresponding to the deployment scheme is minimal, and when part of the leases only can be met, a satiable lease quantity corresponding to the deployment scheme is maximal; and performing SaaS software deployment according to the deployment scheme. By applying the technical scheme provided by the method, the resource utilization rate can be increased. The invention furthermore discloses an apparatus for deploying the SaaS software in the cloud environment. The apparatus has the corresponding technical effects.
