The method comprises the following steps of acquiring a lead temperature of each monitoring point on a power transmission line and meteorological data of a circumference environment of each monitoring point in real time, and acquiring operation data of a power-plant sending out line and a lead current of the power transmission line; according to the meteorological data, a maximum allowable temperature of a lead and a physical parameter of the lead, calculating a maximum allowable current-carrying capacity of the lead of each monitoring point; according to a scheduling value which is sent to the power plant by a provincial dispatching system, the maximum allowable current-carrying capacity of the lead of each monitoring point and the operation data of the power-plant sending out line, generating a capacity-increase instruction or a non-capacity-increase instruction so as to control output power of a generator set.
