The method specifically comprises the following steps of enabling the server to receive a management request sent by a client, wherein the management request comprises type and version of a to-be-managed database, and is used for managing the to-be-managed database; enabling the server to load a plug-in of the to-be-managed database according to the type and the version of the to-be-managed database; enabling the server to obtain a resource, required by the to-be-managed database, from the plug-in; enabling the server to configure the management of the resource required by the to-be-managed database, and after configuring, obtaining a management command according to the management request; enabling the server to run a script of the management command, so as to execute the management request.
