Abstract
The invention provides a method for preventing sugarcane smut by soaking seeds in hot water pesticide and fertilizer liquid. The method includes the steps: selecting sugarcane stalk removed sugarcane leaves without pest and disease damage, cutting the sugarcane leaves into sugarcane stalk segments with 2-3 buds, and soaking the seeds in hot water at the temperature of 52 DEG C for 50 minutes by a sugarcane seedling warm water detoxification treatment device; soaking the seeds in pesticides and fertilizers to accelerate germination for 10 minutes; completely covering sugarcanes with special sugarcane weeding mulching films with widths not lower than 3m after planting. 200-400 milliliters of 2.5% permis suspended seed coatings and 200 grams of monopotassium phosphate are added into 60 kilograms of water to form the pesticide and fertilizer liquid. Hot water, pesticide and fertilizer liquid seed soaking, sterilization, germination acceleration, complete covering with the weeding mulching films, temperature increase, water retention and early emergence are integrated, smut fungi can be effectively prevented from spreading and intruding into the sugarcane buds from sugarcane seed soil, occurrence and harm of the sugarcane smut are relieved, prevention and control effects reach 92.9-95.9%, sugarcane yield is increased by 30% or more, the method is simple and efficient, the use rate of water and fertilizer agents is greatly increased, pesticide and fertilizer application is decreased, and efficiency is increased.
