According to the intelligent riding device positioning tail lamp and the positioning method provided by the invention, an endurance time of a riding locus recorded by a mobile phone via the GPS module inside the mobile phone when a user rides is improved, and the GPS module can be started automatically and directly according to a moving state of the riding device; and therefore, the intelligence level of the positioning tail lamp is improved.
