Abstract

The invention discloses a multichannel time delay estimation method based on robust adaptive blind system identification. An adaptive filter coefficient of a channel corresponding to each microphone is initialized; each microphone acquires sound signals and the sound signals are stored in separate frames; and by using the signal frames acquired by each microphone in the same time period, multichannel time delay estimation is carried out. Firstly, according to the time domain signals acquired by each microphone and the former-frame time domain signals, the adaptive filter coefficient according to the former-frame time domain signals and first-order and second-order derivatives of a Cauchy estimator, the updating amount of the adaptive filter coefficient is calculated, the updating amount is used for updating an adaptive filter coefficient acquired in previous iteration, the adaptive filter coefficient corresponding to the current frame is obtained, and the obtained adaptive filter coefficient is used for time delay estimation. The Cauchy estimator is used for defining a new frequency domain cost function, and the time delay estimation performance is enhanced.
