The invention provides a method for preparing a hydrocarbon mixture by means of two-step method methanol conversion through an adiabatic fixed-bed reactor. The method comprises the steps that a part of circulation gas is introduced into an inlet of a dimethyl ether conversion reactor; when a device is started for the first time, the dimethyl ether reactor is heated through the circulation gas, after the temperature of a catalytic bed layer reaches the initial reaction temperature, the methanol raw material is gradually introduced, and therefore stable starting operation of the device is achieved; the materials discharged from the dimethyl ether reactor enter an oil synthesizing reactor, and a mixture of C1-C11 hydrocarbons and water are generated; the mixture and water are subjected to further cooling and then enter an oil-water-gas three-phase separator; a gas-phase product obtained through separation serves as the circulation gas for circulation, process water is delivered outside for water treatment, and the oil-phase product is the hydrocarbon mixture.
